About Amy Beach

 Formally known as Amy Cheney, Amy Beach was born on September 5, 1867 in New Hampshire. She composed her first piece inside her head at age 4,and first played publicly when she was 7 years old. Beach played during the Late Romantic Period. Beach composed symphony pieces and married Dr. Henry Beach when she was 18 years old. Amy Beach died on December 27,1944, and will always be remembered to this day.
