Early Life

Amy Beach was born on September 5,1867 in Henniker, New Hampshire. At age one, she learned how to sing accurate songs with correct pitch. At the age of 4, she composed her first piece inside of her head. At age 6, her mother taught her how to play piano. At age 7, she first performed publicly. From there, her life progressed and Beach became very successful. She kept performing and creating pieces, and eventually created some of her most famous pieces. Marrying at age 18, her early life became more mature as she moved in to adulthood.
